Sifeun, which means "My first penny" in the Beti language of Cameroon—the first money one earns—is an ode to merit for a wardrobe that is equally feminine and masculine. It is a practical, contemporary bag. The exclusive triangular clasp is inspired by both the Imane Ayissi logo and the importance of geometry in African decorative arts, where the triangle is often associated with femininity and protection against evil spirits.
